Only is hot when I use flash or other design software xD When I bought the fan, it has never more been warm

You might need to replace your PC because Acer PCs(including Laptops, Netbooks, Notebooks, etc...) tend to get thrashed on their own... Trust me i know by experience i had an Acer Laptop that got busted 2 months later.

I have this laptop since 2 years and has never failed me.

But, yes, I've heard not so good opinions about Acer's computers. Someday I'll buy a new PC and I'll install Linux in the laptop

I recommend Toshiba or HP since i have my HP Desktop for 6 1/2 years and it only died once at the expense of 5 swollen condesators

I'm just curious, why choose to work on your laptop instead of your PC monitor?

Because it's easier for me, due I can't move the keyboard in front of the PC screen. Someday I'll buy a new PC and I'll use the other screen

I have that same laptop! (but a little older i think) an Aspire - 5253 but mine is INCREDIBLY slow! i cant edit movies or watch youtube on it or anything lol. i had it over 5 years and its practically useless! i love it though but its just so slow lol i think the processors failing or somthing did you have any problems with your laptop being slow? (typed from my new laptop lol)

Maybe in the past it was a little slow. I had installed many softwares. Some months ago I restarted my laptop and installed only the software I need. I can work ok with Flash, use chrome with many windows and other things. This laptop was ok since the day I bought it.
