Metal Gear is a great series! In the entire series, MGS, MGS3, and MGS4 are definitely the better ones, and in my opinion, MGS3 is probably the best one of them all. Have fun and enjoy it! :)

I'll bet you have, haha! MGS3 is probably the most well-known game in the series besides MGS, and its no surprise why—its deep story, memorable characters, strong philosophy, etc. are all done so well that no other game in history has as much as MGS3 has to offer, at least in my humble opinion. Have fun playing MGS2! :)

There's a reference to the cardboard box in Saints Row 4, in one of the loyalty missions, iirc. Anyway, you have to use it to kill all guards in a room without getting detected. Then again, pretty much that entire game consists of references xD
