Another drawing of Sosumi, a Kitsu character of mine :3 Yaaaaay I am always pleased to have more drawings of him down. There are several mistakes in this, but as a whole it is good enough for me. The only one I care to mention is his arms, they should be more feral but I just didn't want to fuss with the anatomy of them. I just wanted to squeeze in something for myself in between all these commissions I have, so frankly I don't even care AUGH!

That isn't me, it is actually my character's brother X3 But he is standing in blood/water/lava/coca-cola(whatever you want him to be standing in). A lot of times I don't consciously decide what everything is in my drawings, so it really leaves a lot to the viewer to decide.

Looking way nice! The colours are just vibrant enough to make my brain trip a little, but not enough to give me an eyesore. Excellent balance
Except for the great composition I like the splash of blood/water the best. It actually looks like liquid, a sight I simply adore. Water is so beautiful, the way it catches light and shit. Just... great
And of course, I daresay, even id it's a fucking dragon, that this dude is kind of sexy. I'm digging his guitar-player-in-a-rock-band arms and the skeletal hint of wings, there

Very exciting picture to scan sector by sector: that gory bloodshot moon way back there - or is it a basalt wall reflecting some ghastly magic illumination; spectral wings - or what appears to be them; a ribbon which somehow violates the pool's surface with a splash - is it a ribbon at all ? No to mention the character, who seems quite confident among these heaping mysteries, and is quite enigmatic himself. Originally, I thoght it was your revisitation of male Airu variant, but then the ever-meddling despcription crept into view. No elemental horn, then - is it a common trait of Kitsu dragons, or exclusively endemic to this guy ?
Colours. I like them.
Colours. I like them.
Your comments are so poetic and mystical X3 I love reading them! It's like you are telling me a story about my work, but it is something I have never heard.
Sosumi is Airu's brother, so they look similar in appearance. Elemental horns are a sort of deformation, so no, not every Kitsu would have one :3 But thank you for your interest! I am always happy to explain

My comments are a verbose gibberish aimed at flattering unsuspecting artists into drawing me free commissions. There. I came out with the truth. See how honest and sincere I am ? Self-aware ? Conscientious ? Now pray tell me, will you draw a full-colour picture completely free of charge ?
Just kiddin' ;3
Thanks for allowing me a peek into this world. It's not that difficult to trace a few character archetypes, enviromental designs and script mechanics from, say, Tolkien, McCaffrey or Le Guin, fondle and tweak them here and there, insert a Mary Sue protagonist and call it Your Own Universe; but to actually think the world through, get the hang of it's atmosphere, customs, traditions, to actually spend some time acclimating your characters to it so they wouldn't seem culture-shocked interdimensional tourists despite the fact they were born there, to give these character intellectual and emotional depth(or deliberate shallowness), to develop their personalities to the point of rivalling those of actual people, conceding to the fact that even through using the most descriptive and articulate of artistic mediums about eighty percent of this development will be lost, all the while keeping in mind that this world is a pure fantasy and will probably never earn you anything in reality - now THIS is hard.
And, some teeth-grinding extremes of that latter version aside, your world appears to fit quite well in the sense of being well-defined and sophisticted, and it is worthy of respect for this. The only beef I happen to have with it is there isn't much of it to go around - the latest DA comic endeavours(which rocks, especially muzzliar expression-wise) being a fair exception. Yes, I can't possibly grasp all the perils the path of a starving talented artist is laced with, and by all that is holy I enjoy your humorous art and crazy sketches immensely, but seeing a note "Here's something I did for myself" with an air of "Here's a postcard from MY world" in the description still brings the widest and warmest smile to my hairy face ;3

Alls I can say is your comments are frikin awesome XD you are an excellent writer! I love reading that :D It makes me excited for something I don't think I am even conscious of. But I can see where you see that and why, and now I am kind of aware of it too. I am really glad you enjoy my work, even if I don't have something as interesting to say in reply, I really appreciate it! :D
