A birthday gift for Kairo, depicting his character in an unexpectedly epic scene in my D&D campaign, during a session entitled "Drag'n Drop."

Two of the PCs traveled through a dangerous swamp and stayed the night in a lizardman city. They were woken by a terrifying, thundering roar. Dragon!

Only level 5, and with half the party far away, they freaked out, ran outside, and joined the rest of the panicked city in discovering not one, but two dragons soaring above them. Thankfully, instead of burninating the villagers, they were focused on fighting each other. Unfortunately, they were still right above everyone's heads. The inhabitants ran for cover as tiny, sizzling droplets of poison and corrosive acid breath rained down from above.

Eventually, one of the dragons managed to down the other. This just happened while they were almost directly above the PCs, resulting in a full-sized green dragon plummeting directly towards them and their precious wagon, which contained all the substantial treasure they'd gathered throughout the campaign.

Kairo's raven mage then had this incredible shining moment of awesome when he was like, "I got this," stepped outside, and used a wand of gaseous form on the dragon as it fell directly at him. This turned the dragon into a giant cloud of mist that exploded into the ground, then reformed nearby, leaving them, their possessions, and the dragon (which turned out to be the good one) completely unharmed.
