Seriously, make the most of it. I remember when our firstborn was a baby, one day I was hanging out a load of nappies, and our neighbour leaned over the fence and said, 'y'know, when ours were that age, and I was up to my elbows in shitty nappies and half-dead from lack of sleep, I never would have believed that one day I'd miss that time ... but you do. It sounds crazy, but savour every minute of it!'
