I promissed I would scour for more uploadable stuff, so here we go.
I was actually hoping to use this in an artbook I was dreaming of doing some day, but since I haven't gotten anywhere near even starting with that, I figured I might aswell upload this, even if it is ... years? old at this point.
In case the title wasn't a give-away, this is what si'itian police officers look like in uniform (though that is not their motto). The background is no longer that closely reminiscent of what I imagine si'itian cities to look like, though certain architectural elements might still apply.
Anyways, just another thing I figured I'd share with you guys. More to come as I dig, hope you guys are enjoying.

That's what usually how mind of "alive" artist goes: nothing is applied to be forever, something would be redrawn, something touched slightly, but like 4-5 year job would be totally destroyed and rebuild.
World doesn't stand on place, facing one direction. So must we be

That depends on which arm of the police we referr to, but concerning general street side police, they're not armed for lethality. They're trained in acquisitional CQC and can opt to be armed with either concussive or paralyzing ranged weaponry of various sorts. Explaining them is a little more complex, but I suppose you can imagine a sci-fi version of a boxing-glove-launcher for the former and either a grenade launcher that lobs glue bombs or a taser which amplifies itself to the targets nerve system to maximize efficient paralyzation without actually imparing vital functions.
For weapons, see above. As for the motto; letter in mind, spirit in act.
The si'itian outlook on law and order is somewhat different from us in that humans tend to be a lot more closely concerned with upholding exactly what it says in print, especially when it comes to others. Si'itian police officers are taught to uphold the law to reasonable limits and are actually permitted to show leeway at their discretion, if appropriate (which may be revised at a later point in time, based on both their reports and official public records). Obviously this requires a lot of background facilitation in the form of visual and audio recordings on every officer and public areas (for comparison, see Washington DC, London or New Mombasa, if fiction is allowed).

Well I'd imagine that the si'itian society is fairly peaceable most of the time... at least on their worlds, so no need to have an armed constabulary. But then again, the evil monsters that are lying in wait for the primary characters leave the planet don't usually respond to favorably to stun weapons or hollow aluminum rods. =)
