Something a little different from the finished pieces, I had a few people comment on the canes, and how to get such detailed strawberry slices in cakes and tarts. So here is a quick little photo tutorial of sorts to show you how its done. Keep in mind, this is all done in extremely small scale - BUT, being able to layer it like this makes the end result much more realistic.

This is for a Strawberry cane. Just slice off the amounts you need for the final product, and there you have it!
