this thing is freaking awesome. the colors are awesome, the fit is awesome, functionality is awesome!
Seriously though, as my first time trying PUL, the stuff is so cool. It feels to childish. I also did this one with FOE (fold over elastic) which is on the outside not inside. At first i thought it would be easier and wondered why i never saw it on adult cloth diapers anywhere, since it looks so nice. well i found out because its so tricky to work with, i had such difficulty sewing it on, to be honest my stitches are horrible on it and its pretty terrible up close.
but you live and learn, i have a better idea what to do next time, and i still think it looks awesome!
I also used some of my higher quality material to make the soaker and let me tell you, despite being thinner and less layers ( i wanted something i could wear discretely) its holds a damn ton.
Any way i'm open to suggestions on what i should so next!

well if you ever get one, go for one with PUL, it feels so damn cool, very few things make me feel little, that stuff does. Im excite for when i get a better sewing machine, or get better at sewing (atm im not sure whats holding me back, because sometimes its really difficult to stitch straight) so i can make more exotic designs.

There is a benefit that more velcro gives more leeway in the fit, But since i made these for myself I knew how much i needed for a tight fit and no more. Also some of the mass produced ones have very low quality velcro (i,e the abu ones) so they used a lot more, though it really does not help that much.
