for anti fogging go to the local dive stores and get the stuff called sea drops. get the one with the gold lid. works great at 120ft below the water. should work just as well above. ;)

I actually just ended up cutting out the plastic with an X-acto knife. Works GREAT! Plus improved ventilation =D
