Sticking with the cute animal theme here lol. I have no idea how this will be received. I'm not doing anything right now but I figured i'd ask your input because this is generally not something I would do but my buds from FA have talked me into this so I'm gonna see what you have to say. Definitely some personal shit here, things I have always taken pains to try and keep separate from here for the most part. If you don't want to hear about me skip down 3 paragraphs and start there. So here goes...

So this is Scud. You might have seen him before. He's hands down the best companion I've ever had, even though he's pretty damn old now but he's got a lot of life in him and he fricking loves me and is incredibly active still. In a decade of ferret ownership I've never had a ferret bond so tightly with me. He's like my shadow. He follows me everywhere like a baby duck and his singular desire is my attention (and ferretone). You might have read my journal about his adrenal disease, despite being stretched super thin already I've been coming up with the money for the constant meds and vet visits that keep him alive and frisky, it's not cheap but I make it happen. You might remember the sketch commission drive I did, that was for him.

About 8 months ago I noticed a weird growth in his mouth, it was quite small but it clearly wasn't painful and it was hard as a rock. I took him into the vet when he had to get some meds for something else and they said it was a benign tumor and if it didn't grow, it's probably not a big deal, they just told me to keep an eye on it....or i could pay them a shit load of money to remove it. Yeah I'll wait. I somehow came up with 4000 dollars for two cancer operations for my last ferret Rudy, it didn't work and I had to put him down but I didn't regret it. It wasn't however easy to come up with that out of nowhere but I had solace knowing I did everything I could for him because he was worth it.

I monitored Scud's tumor for awhile and it seemed the same for quite some time till about 4 months ago when suddenly it seemed to start growing. And it kept growing. You might have seen me offhand mention a ferret operation I was hoping my auctions could raise money for, which they easily could have other than another problem that you also might recall me mentioning (Pretty sure the journals about my Dad are still up. Feel free to read them.) that problem would be my Father. Basically despite being only in his early 60's he suffered what's basically brain damage, was forced out of his business of 30 years and things got so bad for him I've been one of his main sources of financial support (This i haven't mentioned here). His wife makes a little money tutoring kids and they're subletting a room in their tiny apartment which makes a bit more but it's not enough so basically in addition to paying my own rent and expenses, Scud's expenses, I'm the only person keeping them off the street. This is only a year off from being my Mom's financial support which started right out of college (She lost everything in the recession.). I actually helped put her through a masters program (Yes. Your porn dollars partly put my mom through college lol.) to get a new career going but she's a teacher now and they make all of jack shit and I STILL have to loan her money all the time which she....usually pays me back. Now I find out she needs knee replacement surgery and she won't be able to work for possibly the whole next semester and I'll be supporting both my parents and my step mom, there's just no end in sight and it's got me running ragged but they raised me so I gotta do what I gotta do.

As much as I love Scud, I can't pay for this operation at the expense of my Father and soon my Mother, AGAIN. This Tumor has to go though. Soon he won't even be able to close his mouth or eat properly. So I got a proposal for you guys and it could be fun and I hope I can drum up some interest. I'm not begging for money, I want to make it worth your while if you participate and I hope you can and will.

So I got a ferret that needs an operation, and he'll need meds afterwards AND follow up vet visits and as you can see he REALLY is overdue for his latest teeth cleaning (400 bucks. :\). They could do that during the operation which would save a bunch of cash. I also have a lot of watchers, many of whom have been telling me ever since I got here they either can't afford or don't want to pay what I have to charge to make it worthwhile to do commissions here.

So here's my proposal. And I feel so weird writing this. If there's one thing I've never done and always despised on fa are the artists that shamelessly use their watchers as a bank account. I...hope this doesn't come off like that. I see the things other people do like patreons and YCH's (not saying people who do these are using their base.), they rub me the wrong way. Both seem to work but it's like taking away options from people and making them pay for the privilege or taking things you used to give for free and now saying ya gotta pay for them now.

An Arjuna Scud Gum Tumor Raffle. A ladder raffle specifically. Not for a drawing but likely for many drawings. The more tickets bought, the more art and the more quality it will be to be won. One dollar for one ticket. If 1/3rd of my watchers spent only a dollar on a ticket I would have this financed and have a little something left over for myself and my dad. If 1/6th of them bought 2 to 5 tickets it would be financed etc etc. If all of my watchers bought 50 tickets I'd I dunno, laser my name onto the moon or something and let Scud watch. The more tickets you buy, the more chances you got to win, and the bigger the pot gets the more pics there will be to win. I was thinking that like as it's small, start off with like a sketch commission is up, when it gets to a certain level that's a full detail pinup, then two pinups, then three etc etc etc. These will be treated just like commissions. My commissions aren't the cheapest out there, and you can get one for a buck.

The drawings would take place and take THE place of a slot on my normal commission queu so nobody who's paid for work will be left out in the cold and I was thinking for the sake of cuteness and transparency, maybe have a live drawing stream and let Scud draw the winners himself (Put a box of strips of paper in front of him, put a piece of tape on his harness, he will DIVE into that box and go nuts.). Also I'd be there, we could do a little meet and greet, meet Scud, and I can show my appreciation because i've never asked you people for anything and I feel weird doing it now. I'll post update pics of his progress and the operation itself on FA.

I also thought of a cool idea for everybody that's played to vote on what sorts of things I do for my next personal works I upload here so even if you don't win you can help decide what hot porn you see next. Species, subject matter, position, spooge amount, etc etc. If there's something you've always wanted to see me draw I can draw it!

So that's what I'm thinking. But I made this to ask what YOU guys think.
