He's just a general bully. Hiding behind that personality because he doesn't like showing his soft side to unfamiliar people. He enjoys stomping and sitting on those smaller than him. Sometimes shoving victims inside himself either through his maw or other means. And he -really- dislikes other charizards due to an incident when he was just a little mander.
Although even those he considers good friends still get beat up a lot by him. Mostly when he's around strangers he doesn't know, but only to keep up that "jerk" image.

Aww. ^..^; Sounds like he has quite a wall up around himself. Can't say I'm too fond of people who beat up on even their friends though, so I probably wouldn't get along with him. (Plus, I'm the sort of friend that doesn't let other friends hide behind parts of their personality and generally call it out because I want them to be honest with themselves. XD)
Actually, I've never evolved because I was concerned with the possible change of temperament I would have as a Zard... I'm still plenty fiery as a Charmeleon sometimes, but it's easier to keep myself in check this way!
