In the early hours of the morning on June 23 of this year, my favourite kitty died. I'd raised him since he was a runty two-month-old baby, and this September he would've been 13. He was the sweetest little guy ever and acted like a loving daddy to all our other cats. He was terrified of going outside, so I never had to worry about him going missing, and he was the only kitty I've ever known who would let people hold him like a human baby for long amounts of time. He was the biggest, suckiest cuddler ever and even understood the concept of a kiss. And topping things off is that he was who I modelled my fursona after. He died with me right there, the very last of his life leaving him just as I lifted him into my arms, and he was buried safely in my aunt's backyard across from her dog's grave that evening.

 geckomania was kind enough to make this goodbye picture. It took a long time thanks to circumstances mostly beyond Gecky's control, but it's finally finished and ready to share. My precious baby is shown here with his favourite lion plushie, which he had by his side and even cuddled during his final hours. Thanks again, Gecky, you're such an amazing friend. ;w;

Goodbye, Truffle, and I hope we meet again. I'll always miss your cute little voice and your warm, fluffy body, and I'll forever remember how wonderful you made my life. Rest in peace, my little boy. <3
