Just a nice little portrait for 
ibun -- I hope you enjoy it!
I feel a little bad about how this one was turning out-- the original lines were extremely crisp and my efforts at finishing it today feel all muddy and awkward in comparison. I thought I'd make up for it by throwing more detail into the skirt, but I think I may have overdone it. haha

Well this was certainly a pleasant surprise. I'm glad I checked my comments before submissions so I didn't get spoiled. And messy or not I still love it! I really like the pattern on the skirt. I've been wanting drawings of Ibun in something other than his usual attire, and while this doesn't stray from the mold too much, it's different enough to count in my book. The frlils on the shirt are also a nice touch, and I really dig the backpack, I think it ties everything together. (And is that a little bow I spot attached to it?)
Anyway I just wanted to say thank you, not just for the picture, but for just being a really awesome guy. I know we haven't been as close as we once were; but I'm really happy we've reconnected, even if just a little.

Ah good, I was hoping it wouldn't be too far off for you; I know your style changed a lot since my last attempt, and when I committed to making stuff on trading cards, you were among the first ones I wanted to draw. Thank you again for your own support towards getting other friends to draw for me, and for not dismissing me outright when I first reached out to you. You have always been a fiercely loyal and trustworthy friend, and I thank you.
