BEEN A WHILE SINCE I DID THIS.
This is [Nameless]! I was tempted to call her Lune, but no sense in giving her a name if someone may snatch her and give her a name of their choosing.
She is the first of a series of hybrid species I'm playing around with the idea of. Part animal, part plant. This lady is a golden tabby tiger mixed with the chinese lantern (Physalis alkekengi)
Chinese lanterns, in the spring, dry out to reveal a bright red central fruit that is surrounded by a delicate golden 'exoskeleton-like' cage. Her wings are based off of this spun-sugaresque cage. While not useful for flight, they are used for lighting dark places. (and I think they're kinda cute doops)
While Chinese lanterns do not naturally glow, I threw some bioluminescense into the mix so that her wing lanterns and the lanterns that can grow woven into her hair will glow.

WHILE THESE THINGS MAKE ME HELLA NERVOUS, I'm hoping that since I goofed and fell for her while I was drawing her up, maybe someone else will too D8 In the event that she is sold, I'll start posting the others that I've come up with so far, if not I won't bother you peeps with alla that 8D;;
(And if things go well enough I can branch off of the plant idea and go for someone else I had in mind. G-Get it, BRANCH? /Ollies into the sun)

I have neeever seen a chinese lantern in person, but I'll always remember seeing them in that old claymation movie Coraline. I wanna do some cherry blossoms, wisteria, ornamental peppers, stargazer lillies, honeysuckle, and skdjsfd the list goes on D8 I probably won't keep designing them if she doesn't make a good impression, but I thought they were kinda cute!

I'm pretty sure I've seen them in person! My memory is a little hazy or... or I'm thinking of this one painting this one guy I used to live with painted... it was AMAZING OMO

I wanna garden and have a green thumb like nobody's business but I can hardly keep a cactus alive D8 It's horrible! So I endeavor to get vase flowers whenever I'm able.

She's beautiful~ I love her colors (red hair = <3 ) and the theme is really creative. I can't wait to see all your ideas! After all, if they all look this lovely, I'm sure they'll all sell for lots and lots x)
