Bal is an Ancient One- that is, a dragon that has lived past the typical dragon age of 500. He's 750 years old- a brutal warrior. He hides himself away as Balthasar the Infyrn (at 600, dragons learn to shape/size shift)- even though noone had seen an Infyrn that large (about half his size here) or black before, they accepted it.
He's dating Shrug's youngest son- Siraj. He has a human form as well, although they don't always use that when... the time comes. XO
