The night Shiloh was born reminded her of the risks but even in her dieing breaths the last thing she did was kiss the one whom had made her happy for those many months. As she died her body dissipated into steam which began to incircle the cub's neck and tail. She was so small in Jareth's human hands... From that day on Jareth had to take extra care when working the forge and be a good father to his daughter.

Shiloh was born with Dissociative Identity Disorder which caused her human form to develop into a male creating Shepard.
As Shiloh grew up the dissociative identity disorder took its toll on the poor mongoose girl, as it got worse she started to black out and come too in places she had never seen before, when her 18th birthday came around she had a black out during the celebration and woke again in the courtyard of a large temple surrounded by concerned looking monk mongooses. This really frightened her and when one of them stepped forward she backed up into another and hissed. The one whom stepped forward was an old mongoose looked as if he could have been a hundred. He bowed slowly and looked Shiloh in the eyes saying "dear child you seem to not know us as your other did, and you heart is full of fear. We know of your disability and we can help you cope with it but you must stay here with us and be our head priest." She stared him right in the eye "but I am a girl and I have no idea what you religion is about" she said glaring but interested in what he was saying. " your other self seems too know but you do not? Very interesting..." The old mongoose paused for a moment "follow me" he said. She followed him reluctantly into the large building where he stood in front of a mirror. It's surface was polished and spotless. "Come closer and peer into my mirror of ones self" he said. She came closer to the glass her reflection matching her steps as she came closer. It was a perfect reflec... As she watched her reflection come closer it stood up on its hind legs and morphed into a human. A human male. He wore a robe just like the monks in the temple however it was multi-colored like the old mongoose's it was beautiful, it was almost as if the sunset was captured on a piece of fabric and made into a robe. This couldn't be possible she thought no it's not real it must me a cruel trick! "Ah there is our newest head priest" he said with a smile. She looked at him shocked and the reflection did the same, when she glared at it, it glared right back. " if I help you, you must live here with us. She took him up on this offer and he gave her a grey necklace with a large wind charm. This was a magic item that allowed her to see and talk to her other self Shepard
