Very beautiful I love the sound and rhythm of it. the Tempo is very relaxing and calming.

Thank you... it's a bit slower than the original version but I like that it varies throughout. It's a bit out of time in the middle which is something I haven't done before, but I really got into the piano playing and got a bit lost in it and ended up keeping the improvisation.

When you say "novice", the resulting sound should be of random tweets and sound effects that go together like an iceberg and a petting zoo, or candy and motor oil. Instead, you provide a delicate weaving of emotion that is able to bring calmness and tranquility to those that are fortunate enough to hear it. So I claim "Bullsh*t" on your "Novice" stature here as this sounds way too finished to me.

What can I say... thanks for being so supportive ^^;; I can hear bits I don't like that I will undoubtedly overdo until I throw my keyboard out of a window XD But I do like some elements of this, which is why I was comfortable posting it (well almost... still nervous every time I upload ANYTHING as I am worried people will laugh or something!).

I am really pleased you enjoyed this so far. Hopefully I will stick at it and finish it off. It's strayed a long way from the original, but *shrugs* que sera and all that (or whatever).

I need to compose something for you still... *ponders* I keep meaning to. It'll be a sleep album XD

As for Come Find Me... I am so critical that I hear things a bit more negatively (in terms of my voice, nothing to do with Fox's work) so I rely on the feedback from others to some degree when judging my music/vocals. I am so happy that people like what we did as a collaborative effort... Million Lights was awkward as I was so nervous but everyone seems to love that track. I know I could do better but was scared stiff when sat in the world's most famous studio :s no pressure!

I do really like Immortality now that I got over being all self critical about the singing... they did a lovely job on the track. It's so different to the original but really works :D

As for the other tracks... damn, Amadhia and Colson's tracks make me shiver every time. I love those singers... combined with Fox's compositional skills it's just soooo good :D!

The thing is probably that you, as a musician and singer, hear things differently than most people like me. I know that phenomenon from the time when I started to draw myself; I began to see art different, and more critically, as before. Being an only-listener when it comes to music, these songs give me nothing but shivers when I hear them. Heck, I always have tears welling up when listening to it

On a side note, I get the feeling these recordings have much wider dynamic range than Fox' music from before? They really shine when being listened to with hi-quality headphones, but aren't therefore all that suited for being listened to in the car, for example. Ambient noise swallows all the fine details. The only thing I find a bit sad about the CD is that Immortality wasn't recorded with the ECO, like Million Lights, apparently. Asides from that, it is an unbelievable CD. When I opened the booklet to find my name among the supporters, I blushed like a schoolgirl

I'd say this is pretty darn sweet for a WIP - will there also be vocals for the tune at a later point in time?

I didn't have vocals for the original but I thought about adding something with the choir myself... or maybe some harmonies later on. I don't know yet. :3 Very tempting to go nuts on it but I should probably not overload it XD

I really like the stuff you do here. Your chord choices are very nice, and the way everything blends is good.
I just want you to sing over all of it X3
I start imagining the vocal like you could do and it makes me wish I were hearing it.

I think when I was working on this, I was trying to decide what the vocal would be... it was never something I had a vocal part for originally but I do wonder if I could add something. That quieter part after the intro where the piano really slows down is supposed to be where the vocal part sits, I just haven't gotten as far as even singing over it yet. I haven't picked this one back up for a while though. I definitely should try and finish it. I updated my samples since this as well!
