It's hard to believe it was two decades ago, when I'd first came up with the concept of the highly-carbonated soda 'Bloat Cola' - originally for a gag in "The Dallas Brawl Update" (as a lampoon of the high-caffiene beverage Jolt Cola). Since then, I had done a number of new 'furry inflation' gags revolving around the bubbly brew - most which appear in my "FA" gallery - but there was one thing I hadn't tackled yet, in all this time...
By now, most of you are familiar with the idea of dropping a Mentos candy into a bottle of diet cola - creating a miniature version of 'Old Faithful' in the process - as seen in countless viral videos. In addition, many individual try to prove (or disprove) a certain myth about consuming both Pop Rocks (candy) and soda simultaneously. But has anyone experimented with the idea of having someone eat an unusually large amount of Mentos and Pop Rocks, and washed it all down with 'Bloat Cola'?
I couldn't let this idea slip through my paws; so, I managed to get an assistant (in this case, a gopher) to volunteer his services for said experiment. Of course, like most experiments, mistakes will be made. And my big mistake was confining the action to comic strip form (as the third panel will demonstrate). Still, as the saying goes, "one learns by one's mistakes", and - as a result of this experiment - I'll be making bigger and better mistakes!
Meanwhile, if you want to see my other cartoon gags involving this carbonated concoction, click on 'Bloat Cola' in the Keywords section...

If you mean the "Bloat Lght" ad parody (some years ago), you'd nailed it!
