So.. uh... Thanks to an incident a while back at BigFurs IRC with Tyrian, one of that lightning-fox Azure's siblings, 'rainbows' have become a code-word for 'paws'. Later on, incongruency remarked: "Just be glad Azure's not yet shown up with four leaf clovers and a pot of gold to really rip on the 'rainbows' bit." Much, much later, I wound up with this.
Not all that glitters is gold, and not all gold glitters. Sometimes gold is very warm and fuzzy, and has soft pads.
This.. took.. forever to complete. Mostly my fault, due to postponing redoing the head for quite some time. In total, maybe.. 20-25 hours to draw and color? Biggest problems came from trying to accurately render Buttercup's face, without eyebrows, and with those neat, but possibly-terrorizing solar irises. Seems to have turned out okay, at least.
Brilliant Buttercup - sweet-tempered sibling of sunshine, supplier of summer solstice
digitalf0x - terribly-tiny data-fox, caught in the undertow
EDIT 2021-2-20: Fixed Buttercup's muzzle coloring, changing from yellow to cream - more like a traditional red fox. Also brightened Buttercup's paw pad color (think "buff leather"), softened their yellow to a more golden tone with a sunset-esque gradient, and fixed the gaze of their right (on left) eye.

I miss many things from being a lazy bum and not partaking in #rp antics. Tis a shame. I've hardly ever met any of Azure's siblings. I know I have not met Buttercup.
Interesting eyes I gotta say. When I saw the thumbnail with rainbows and stuff... it looked like drugs. Bloodshot eyes doped up on the goods. But then I zoomed in and found that they are, in fact, awesome looking eyes.
Rainbows... hah! Anyways, well done, sir.

You've done some stuff over by the ranch, and there's not really an obligation to participate (despite what a certain janitor might say). That being said, if you do wind up having time, I'd vote for your appearance :)
Yeah... Those eyes (and face), man, so much tweaking to try to get it right... You should ask incongruency about his eye-collection, too. While I was doodling this, he tried his hand at things in GIMP. Totally not creepy results.
I was a bit worried the rainbows might not come across the right way without the right context, drugs and other things considered. Glad it works, and thanks for the compliments, too =^.^=
