Freckles and Carn decide to play with Nero, after all you have to keep your swallow-able pet happy and content. The game they are playing is "Belch Catch" The objective of the game is to get the other guy to accidentally swallow little critter who serves as the ball of the game. Whoever swallows the 'ball' looses. The more force the belch has, the more likely it will cause the 'human/ball' to forced far enough inside that the gag reflex causes the predator to swallow.

The game in this case has been going on for hours, the wet belching sounds sometimes attracts crowds of other dinosaurs. Sometimes bets take place, raptors love to watch these games go on for some reason. Perhaps they need to start a league, in which a human is used as a ball and has to be run to some end zone while still inside a predators mouth. Make it a contact sport and well if the predator opens their jaws and fumbles for another predator to scoop up and take to the other end zone. >.>

Don't worry, Nero doesn't mind much and the two really love him. They protect him well while on their wild vacations in which they shift into their feral forms. Often wishing to show him off to the other feral vacationing creature their cute little tasty pet.

Freckles seems to have lost the game, but he somewhat won in a little way. Carn is consoling him, more likely envying him.
