Yay! I LIKE this- why? because it's simple, it shows your thought process (IE construction lines), and to me anyway, you've shown some planning. this is good things.
Art doesn't always have to be a finished high caliber shiny finished piece, Sometimes the best pieces are the simple ones, and really reveal the feeling and intent of the artist!
Maybe it's just me, but sketchy stuff sometimes communicates a bit better than finished pieces do.

I totally agree with Oci, I like this too. I think what helps is that you've got two characters interacting, so they've got a purpose to be there, they have feeling. Keep it up!
