as for a funny, i'll relate one of my favorite stories from a friend:

my friend was working overnight shifts but was buying a new fridge that was getting delivered the next morning. he got off at around 4 and the fridge guy was supposed to be due 8-10. so he goes to sleep as soon as he gets home with the help of melatonin (which is notorious for some folks for causing super vivid and weird dreams) cue a night of bizarre dreams involving midgets doing very very inappropriate things. his sleepy brain hears the doorbell but doesn't process it right away. eventually he realizes "oh god, the fridge guy is here!" and he snaps awake. he scrambles down stairs as fast as he can and throws open the front door to see the fridge guy walking back to his truck ready to give up on this delivery today. my friend is known for having wild, crazy, long hair which, in his sleepy daze, is EXTRA crazy looking. he's also a guy.... and guys are known for having morning wood. which he had! apparently he had run down the stairs in naught but his boxers and a tshirt that he was sleeping in and had... slipped out... he threw open the door and jumped onto his stoop and yelled, "hey fridge guy!" in this super crazy state.

what did the fridge guy do?

he raised his hands and shook his head and said, "i'm not into it, man"

all's well that ends well, though. my friend has a silver tongue and managed to talk his way out of the super awks situation and his fridge was delivered and installed as needed. everyone went away happy if a little emotionally scarred.

For my story it involves my work at a hotel

This was last summer. It was easily over 90 degrees and the hotel was super busy. I work security. We got a call from the front desk saying a man was frantic and wanted us to go to his room asap. We rush up their thinking someone is hurt. This man told us to come in when we knocked. We rushed in and he was hiding behind a bed, blinds shut, with his computer in his arms. He proceeded to tell us, in a lawn that had about 50 kids and adults playing and running around, there was a Mexican man wearing a 3 piece black suit. He was holding a brief case controlling a UAV to hover on his balcony to take pictures of him on his computer. We looked out, no was wearing any black, let alone a full suit. He then tells us because of who he works for (we had a pharmaceutical company conference at the time) That these people followed him everywhere to attempt to steal his files on his comp like this.

And stuff like this isnt all too uncommon at our hotel. I love (See; hate) my job.

Anyway. Thanks for the chance! (I feel this isnt much of a funny story, but its all I got right now XD)
