Look everyone, it's a cat in a box! This calls for a physics joke...
I can't help wanting to point my camera at the most colorful thing in the room, but Sparkle is actually somewhat difficult to photograph: the sharp contrast boundaries around his black and white details express chromatic aberrations, and his vibrant markings fall within the aberrant spectrum, so he has to be selectively defringed in post. Incidentally, it was when I was processing this photo that I first noticed that his eyes are gray--I suppose all of his color ran off to the rest of him.
