I always feel odd posting pics of Virgil since he's not really part of any continuity and stories like rest of my characters...that and he's not really furry. But dangit that face! That aggressively pouty face! So in this case I'll make an exception...
...just watch, two weeks later my gallery will be full of nothing but my backlog of Virgil derp doodles. X_x
This was mainly a silly doodle turned picture as I work between the commission swarm. I find drawing Virgil oddly cathartic even if his hands will likely be the eventual death of me.
As for the picture theme itself, it has been sort of a running joke with me and
mythicfables after we spent over an hour talking about clothes our D&D characters wear even when the events they wear them in last like...7 minutes. Our pretty pretty princess shenanigans are unstoppable and quite magical.

I only played one once.
I had a hard time picking up on the mechanics of the game and the world environment interaction. I actually found the books on such things more interesting then the game itself.
Definitely sounds like an activity that you would want to play with friends and not people who can be jerks.

Yeah. In my experience it is the group of people who really make a RP game what it is. If you end up in a group where there are dickbutts, then it can really drain any enjoyment out of the experience. I've been really lucky that my current groups are also really cool folks I like to hang out with outside of game so it makes it a whole lot more fun when you are playing with a group of good friends.
i have to agree on this, the groups i've been in have been nothing but clothes, accessories and looking fabulous while slaughtering goblins x3

Miss Mab, I've read it once somewhere before and I already forgot, but you first draw strips for DMFA in traditional, right? Then upload a sketch or something like that then do it in Photoshop, yes? If so, do you do this in all of your artworks?

This is indeed a true representation of nearly every dnd session I've been a part of, to the point that I no longer bother coming up with any more than the bare bones of a campaign.
By the time that I've finished describing the first scene someone will have done something silly and the plot will be out the window already. But it's all good, making it up as you go is half the fun.
