Reference for the species I'm designing for a story. No official name for the alien species but nicknamed Cobra Cats due to the way their large tentacles strike and deliver venom.
Their color changes not just in the skin but also in the fur which helps to blend into the environment and also display various moods.

Oh, I do like displacer beasts I admit. One of my characters Dauntain is an anthro displacer beast in fact. Sadly, your typical displacer beast is feral and I wanted a biped species that also had some logical scientific reason for all the limbs. Can't use a displacement field but I suppose good camoflage is a runner up. I mean... It worked for the Predator.
