Hah... i got this from
jersey awhile back and i finally got around to printing it up so i could fill it out. I had been thinking about trying to do it digitally but... nah. Anyways, I'd like to embellish a bit on each picture.
1.) Yes, I am allergic to WHEAT of all things. Not to mention Dust, Dust Mites, Bee Stings, Dog and Cat Dander, Certain kinds of Trees, and Grass... Now, most of these are incredibly minor and actually VERY common allergies. ^_^;; so... yeah. fun times.
2.) I cannot swim... This has been proven by the 3 times i have nearly drowned. Of course, the final occasion could've been a lot less terrifying if it hadn't been for the fact that it had happened in a fitness center pool, with guys that looked like they worked there merely laughing at me from the shallow end. (go figure, it happened when my sister and her friend were trying to teach me to swim.)
3.) Not alot of people notice this because my ears are covered by my hair most of the time. I mainly put this one in because, of all people, i don't want you guys to just give me a weird look and say "holy shit, when did you get your ears pierced?!". v.v; I've had them pierced for going on 3 and 4 years, and several local acquaintances still haven't realized it.
4.) Hehehe... The picture actually has something to do with the fact that we had a new public library built awhile back. I saw the floor plan one time at the old library and I flipped out. I was seriously excited about it... until i figured out that i wouldn't be able to walk to the library from the high school anymore. Anyways, one of the librarians heard me talking to a friend about the new library and i jokingly made a remark about setting up a tent nearby to the site so i could be closer to the books. She came up to me and said "You're a nice kid, but we would have to call the cops on you for that." Needless to say, I was both surprised and alittle shocked by the proclamation.
5.) My mom told me this on one of our last family trips to a restaurant. It mainly happened because somehow the conversation had turned in the direction of discussing the fact i was gay. Many gay jokes were made, mainly by my sister. When my mom told me that though, I just need to know why they believed this. She gave me 3 reasons:
a.) Because, back when i was 2 years old, I was caught several times trying to wear my mom's high heels;
b.) Rather than play with action figures or play video games, i preferred 'playing House';
and c.) When I was in preschool, my parents got a call from the teacher because the girls in class were complaining that i wouldn't share the dress.
Well... more reasons for people to laugh at me ^_^; hell, i think some of them are pretty funny. Go on and have a laugh guys, if you feel so inclined.

*chuckles* hehe... y'know i actually did alot of that too. not so much polly pocket, but i liked to work out storylines with Barbie and her friends... y'know, my sister never had a Ken doll... o.o; weird...anyways, it ended up that when i played house, especially with other people, i'd either be nominated to be 'Mom' or the family pet. & Sailor Moon was an awesome anime... i still watch it on occasion. hell, i had the theme song memorized at one point and i knew all of the sailor scouts real names... i still remember the theme song, but i can't remember all their names x.x;
i won't be making a canoe out of you... and if we ever wind up in the middle of the ocean, then i'm gonna' be f*ckin' pissed... too much water in one place *shivers* but yeah, we did talk about all that before ^_~ it's nice to hear it again though... *kisses your cheek*
#2 and #3 are the same for me.
I'd probably drown in one of those kiddie pools >_>;
And my ears have been pierced since I was a wee babe :P
#4, something similar happened to me, except it was my mom who said I can't live in Starbucks :c
xD
and I can definitely kinda sorta identify with 5....-cough-

As liberal and as accepting as my parents are, they never expected me to be anything other than straight and a male who wears male's clothing. Even though, when I was playing pretend as a kid and got dressed up for my wedding, I had a pillowcase on my head as an approximation of a veil, and a blanket around my waist as a gown. My mom even labeled a picture of me like that as me being in "bride's regalia." And then while I had Ghostbusters action figures, I didn't get interested in any other ones. Barbies, on the other hand, those were cool. I would play with my mom's old Barbie stuff.
Then, when I finally told my dad I wasn't straight, in talking about it, he said, "no, we never expected that."

Well, my mom died before I even knew I wasn't straight but I know she would be/is ok with it. My dad is cool with it, too. Everybody I've told, actually, but I've been very cautious about it--usually I've waited until I pretty much was sure that whoever it was would be ok with me being gay.
that sucks hun... my dad died before i came out to my family, so i know how that can be. i should probably be more cautious with who i tell, cause i actually have one friend who i told and then i accidentally brushed against him later in the day and he threatened to break my nose if i touched him again... he says he doesn't remember the event, but it was clear enough for me.
*nods* One of my friends didn't take it well early on...he initially was just sortof "oh...ok," but then later got pissed off and stopped talking to me. After a couple of months he realized he missed me, tho, and he got over it. Pretty much all of my friends know now, tho... Interestingly, some of them are quite easy-going when it comes to physical proximity and have no issue with sitting so that they're touching me, which actually gets a little odd for me at times. They may not even realize they're doing it, tho. For me, I mainly kindof feel like if they're that close, I might as well put my arm around them or something like that. I dunno what they'd think, but maybe sometime if I'm really tired I could get away with it, and just claim I was falling asleep. Hehe.
wish my friends were that open. my friends tend to dislike most actual physical contact unless it's actually necessary. *sighs* it gets really frustrating because i'm a really affectionate person and i like giving hugs... meh, maybe i'm just too clingy in the first place... x.x; have you ever had the random, unwarranted NEED to hug someone??
I think so. Hugs are generally supposed to be good for your health, tho...they lower stress or something like that. So, even if there doesn't seem to be any immediate reason, it makes sense to want hugs. I tend not to get them as often as I'd like, although it usually seems to come in spurts...nobody hugging me for a while, and then I'll get a bunch of hugs all in one day. Usually that's because I'm a member of an organization that's very pro-hugging, tho, so when we get together, everybody hugs. I backed out of a meeting this past Sunday, tho...but that was so I could go visit family, primarily my dad...so I still got hugs. And hugs from my dad are important.
The organization is a leadership, diversity, and prejudice reduction training group. So, we teach leadership skills, tools for reducing the prejudice of others (and ourselves, too), and we also do "healing work," to try and gain perspective on things that have hurt us in the past so that we can move forward and be effective (as leaders, etc.).
Given the extent we've been talking on here, it might make sense to talk via IMs sometime...you can get me on AIM or Yahoo at LucFolf (on Yahoo, the reply will come from a different name, due to software glitches, tho), or at ICQ 55256529. I'm rarely on at this hour that I'm posting...but that's beside the point, anyway.

Y'know... I read this before, but I just now got around to commenting on it. :p Lemme see...
A common link! I can't swim either! Least I can do is take a deep breath, get water in my ears, and float. X3 I try to let it out and I just fall like a rock into the watery depths. That's why I am not known for being one to go out swimming during the summer. Also... *innocently whistles* I played with my sister's Barbie dolls WITH her! When that Star Trek movie came out (that had Whoopie Goldberg in it), somehow I got her action figure and I still played with her Barbie dolls more. *roleplayed back then with them still* >_>
I don't remember much else about my younger years, though. *has a weird case of non-/selective memory loss* I miss having Barbie go on a random adventure to find out the cause for Ken's deadly disease, and having her little sister come around and be an evil little witch. >_>

THE ADVENTURES OF BARBIE! X3 yeah, i can't remember what it was, but i did some weird things with my sister's barbie when it came to that... i think once that me and my brother gathered ALL of the toys... barbie, the g.i.joes, everyone; and we had like this... war of the worlds kind of thing... it was awesome and weird at the same time... we used the figurines to play out random scenarios...
