Backgrounds still give me trouble, and plushies are surprisingly hard to draw due to their tiny size on the page. Otherwise, not too bad I don't think. Let's hope they like it!

You know, fur the plushies, if your drawing digitally, you could draw them really big/full size, them "resize them" down.
You ~could~ even draw them by hand, scan them, and edit the whole piece with the plushies on (a) different layer(s). : 3
It might make it easier, or it might not. //w//
You did well, regardless! ;/3

Heheh That's whaat I thought.
You could get a digital friend to work on the placement of them with you if drew them separate from the rest of the piece and sent them all the files for compilation. But when you're doing so well all on your own, why mess with such a wonderful system? ; P

problem is that in that case lines and features would be so thin that it may create illusion that it's life-size creature but very far away. Line weight matters. If ru was doing fully painted job, hiding outlines, that wouldn't matter much, the firmness of lines and shades will suggest distance .. while to actually make distant object, one would imitate blur and loss of depth. Contoured paintinggot different visual illusions.
For plushies, it's often difficult to not make them look like mini-anthro characters, yeah. It helps if you give them bead eyes, or bubble shaped, flatter eyes. If you make the eyes too lively and 'human', it can bring them to life a little too much. Also, their bodies need to be more blob-shaped and single-jointed. They often don't have things like hips and necks. The more joints you cut out, the more blob-cute they get (just look at squishables! what joints).
