Technically, the answer is yes. By human perceptions, the answer would appear to be no. A group of avali together create a no-go zone of intense cold. Temperature is relative! Avali and humans have completely different comfortable temperature ranges. They're adorable, but you'd get instantly frostbitten if you touched one, and the poor avali would suffer a burn.
