This is the latest of many things I have going "on the side"...A commission to illustrate a comics story written by my dear friend
jazzfoxrules,to whom I have awarded the title of "Ace and Queenie's #1 fan",because she truly is. You may remember that I came across fanart she had done of A & Q quite by accident, well that was one of the happiest accidents I've ever had. Jazz's friendship has been a great source of comfort and inspiration to me.She continually offers me wonderful and clever ideas and suggestions for A & Q,and I'm still amazed that my little comic series has touched someone to that extent.

"Shut-in" is the story of a lonely young Woman trying to recover from a leg injury in the midst of a sweltering heat wave. She feels abandoned by everyone close to her, especially the most important person in her life. What she does not know is that this night will see her plunged into a terrifying ordeal.
By the way,Jazz's story was inspired by a classic Hollywood thriller-can you guess which one ?

Hee, you can count on having me hanging around for a good long time, Rusty!
One new gadget already, and I'm looking to make a few more before reporting once more! :3
On the comic... well, you know everything I've said about it to you already...
But it couldn't hurt to say... ::HUG!:: X3 BIG thanks for taking this on!!

Rear Window has already been suggested; how about Sorry Wrong Number or Home Alone?
Also, I like the use of Britishisms in the dialogue. They provide a sense of place without being too blatant.
Finally, it's good to see more Ace and Queenie fans out there!
