^^ I hope you dont think the "airy" notes atre a bad thing ^^;;? I purposely wanted some contrast in there. I like songs that do that, not all powerful or all soft but a bit of a mixture ^^ I dunno, my equipmet is a bit low-spec so maybe that makes me sound a bit 60s ish? XD thanks, anyway :)
Honestly, I didn't think the airier notes quite fit, but I might have to give it another listen. :) But that's just for this song, that style of singing has its place elsewhere. ^v^
And I don't think it's just your equipment, but the quality/tone of your voice. As soon as I heard it, I was reminded of someone... I just wish I could remember who. -.-;;;

Wow, you know this has always been my very favorite song by them. It's just a song that makes you listen to it, if you know what I mean, like drop everything and pause for a sec a soon as it comes on. I think you really captured that and made it your own, something tough to do with such a classic song.

I must agree that you do such a great job with every song that you do. I truely hope with all my heart that you get discovered and can start singing as a profession. Plus, if that WERE to happen, everyone would win: You'd have a better paying job with less hours (I think), and we'd all get to listen to tons of songs sung by you.
Well, I must go and eat something. I need to do that every few hours or else I start to get shakey (no medical thing, just metabolic). Must be the hyperness pervading my system. *shrugs*
Can't wait to hear more, but will force myself to be patient.

Oh I know... it's annoying. But I usually sing lots of cover or write lots of songs, never record anything full length, or hate the entire thing so chop bits out to show the bits i do kinda like. I will have to compase something decent soon. This was done over MSN for my friend, who ask me to sing it if I recall. So I just recorded the verse and chorus for him.
I don't know, but to my rusty music ear (haven't played in a LONG while) the 'didn't seem so far away' bit as you were climbing up sounded a touch flatr, but again, probably just me. Again, like another commenter said, I love how you didn't just follow their singing style.

I listened to it a few times XD Maybe you're rght, it might be on "troubles", ever so slightly. It's a comfortable enough key but I still feel a bit of a strain on my voice at times. It's like half the notes are powerful and half aren't, and sometimes the trangression upwards is a bit sketchy. I know it isn't perfect, god knows I am not perfect!!

I know... I traul YouTube sometimes and some of the girls on there scare me. I'm not trying to be nasty or anything, but if they really are full of themselves and can't do whatever they're saying they can, it's a bit sad :s
