He's half Arab and he just wanted to run and never stop. First time riding him too. The owners don't have a school yet so they ride in a field with trees and shrubs and that around the edges.
We were trotting a long and I could feel him wanting to canter so I tried to walk him but he cantered and wouldn't stop so I let him for a bit but the other horses in a paddock next to it called for him and he saw the gate was shut so he thought he could get to them by running through the trees so he picked up his speed and the saddle started to slip.... (I didn't tack up and someone rode him before so we thought it was fine) and then I was handing onto his neck and he ran into the trees and threw me off making me land in stinging nettles, thorns and other stuff and my head was less than 3 cm away from hitting a tree.
He was so fresh.. So yeah, I almost broke my shoulder by the way I landed and if my arm was out a little more it would have hit a tree and broke my arm. I landed on my shoulder because he jolted and threw me and I spun a little.
