How fascinating. You are quite a worthy adversary. You managed to steal my 3rd place position. I admire your courage.
I'm No.38, the Red Panda hybrid, and my skills are more on Defense and Strength. I'm very careful defending my position, but it seems that I got a bit careless. I was busy aiming with my rifle and you took that wonderful opportunity to dash past me. I admit my failure, you definitely deserve the victory.
Though it seems to me that you seldom picking up those items within the race track, my guess is that you are probably not familiar with them. I must advice you that you better learn how to use the items because they can help you win.
I know, I know. I acknowledged that you've won your previous races without them, but still it never hurts to increase your chances to win, correct? There comes a time that the fighting gets tough, so listen up! I'll describe to you each of the items that you can find in the track they provided.
Items are dropped randomly in the area by the official Cybapets roaming around the arena; Some can aid you in the race or bring hindrance to other racers, and they all behave differently when you put them in use. You can carry only one item at a time, use them whenever you need it.
The First Aid is the Heal Item. It will regain your health back and heal your injuries in an instant. Think of it as a portable Reviving Chamber; It is a very powerful medical drug. I don't know what it is made of but its healing properties sure packs a punch. Your Cybapet will administer it for you under your command.
The Wind Grenade is the Offense Item. It is a powerful explosive. That thing is packed with highly-compressed air that unleashes a powerful shockwave, disabling unfortunate souls happen to be near the grenade. When you pull its ring you only got a few seconds to throw the grenade before it explodes, so better becareful if you don't want to get caught in its blast.
The Wind Landmine is a Trap Item. It acts like a Wind Grenade, but this time you set it on the ground. It detonates when it detects racers nearby its proximity. Remember: Once you set the mine, never come back to check it.
The Power Vacuum cartridge is an Upgrade Item. By now you've noticed that your Auto-rifle got a wide slot, that's where you'll insert that cartridge. It increases the vacuum power of your Auto-rifle, boosting the Wind Bullet's firepower at the same stamina cost of normal shots. Its battery power is limited, so don't waste it all.
The Energy Boost Aid is a Support Item. It gives you unlimited burst of stamina within a limited time. You can fire and Speed Dash without depleting your stamina. Better get it if you happen to find one, it's the best thing out there. Like the First Aid, your Cybapet will administer it for you under your command.
And that's all the items in the race. Don't worry, the more you experiment with it, the more you'll get familiar with its uses.
If you happen to finish the race with the item still intact, you must surrender it immediately to the officials as it is part of their protocol. You never know what kind of danger it brings when it falls in the wrong hands outside the arena.
And we're done. Never forget what I taught you, understand? Okay. You're natural, so I know you'll do great.

You know, she's nice. I remember the time when she goes through all the trouble entering the Reviving Chamber to meet the Gunwarriors she killed... just to apologize. Everyone find her behavior to be quite awkward, some find it annoying, but we got used to it. Goes to show she got a pure heart.
Huh? It's not what you think it is. I don't have a thing for her. I'm just saying she's a good person, that's all. You are lucky to have a friend like her, seeing how you two are close.
...promise me. Promise me that you always make her happy, okay? It's rare to see her innocent smile again ever since that awful race. That poor Gunwarrior. If it wasn't for him, she's the one supposed to be... nevermind.
