Orkekum. An old P51 Mustang is telling his grandsons (F22) a story before they go to bed.
I've decided to go with a 'traditional' anthro style as I think it works perfectly in the scene. Please note that the choice of models here is purely symbolic, so I'd like you to not jump at me with bawws and dramas "BUT IRL THERE IS NO RELATION BETWEEN THEM". I don't give a chirp.

Oh my gosh sweetie, what friggin detail! Seriously this looks like an illustration right out of some classical storybook!
Firstly I love how this scene is layed out, it looks so right like something right out of a Norman Rockwell painting. Some pleasant old man sitting in a rocking chair next to the fireplace while three excitable youngsters lay at his feet.
While not really an error I do wanna point this out for the humor of it. XD If they're planes, then that's one hell of a huge swordfish!! Here's something else I JUST noticed, anthro grandpa there, I wonder if he has to worry when he's eating if he'll accidentally get crumbs down in his intake vent. XD
Those little babies are totally adorable, I love them to death! X3 I love the one who's squeaking out "yeah read that one grandpa!" Something interesting, did you actually incorporate some evolution into them? I'm assuming the babies are of grandpa's own family right? But I notice he's got the classic external exhausts on his nose, but the babies seem to be more modern designs.. are they are later models of the same type of jet?
X3 *hands the babies a can of tire inflator to chew on* teehee
What do you think grampie's gonna read to them? Little Red Supersonic Jet? The Three Little Crop Dusters?
