I remember how the Marines received flak, for urinating on the corpses of Taliban.
It is understandable, that as professional soldiers and more importantly, mature adults who have more freedoms than children or teenagers, the Marines in question should indeed exercise more grace that is expected of men like themselves, given that they represent their country and the people of the united states.
And yes, in times of war such behavior is highly unlike that of professional soldiers.
But the Taliban are of an even worse and despicable nature. These are vermin who decapitate journalists on live television, whom use innocent civilians as suicide bombs, whom murder those who advocate allowing women and girls to have an education, and many other things.
In which case, their extermination would be most welcome, seeing as they have forfeited the title of "Human".
