Had this made for me by the leather armor guy at my local Renascence Festival. This archery vambrace is awesome, fits good with it's 4 buckles (can;t see them here but they are there I promise), and the brand which was on the leather when he was cutting it is very cool. I got it as just raw hide but have shaped then oiled it myself as well as making a felt and ripstop pad for it. I then went and had the pad sewn on for me by the craftsman who made it. He made me laugh because he was complaining about how much of a pain in the butt it was to do not realizing I was the customer standing right beside him (I had walked off then come back and had dealt with one of his minions).

it all came good in the end however because we got to talking and showing off scars from being stupid with knives and swords *chuckle*. Am probably going to do some more tooling on this at some point but so far really like it, this will be the first part of a "woodsman's" outfit, I plan to make for the ren-fair and whenever else I need a cool costume, cause yea I like that stuff. Not to mention I needed it for my new baby Cûithil.

Sagittarius, is the latin for "archer" and I have decided to use latin for my armor naming, which makes me want to go change the name of my "Car/Assult rig" post lol. You notice I like systems to my naming? Anyway, am still oiling this (rawhide soaks up a huge amount of oil!) but it is pretty much done now, may do a Mod 1 down the road but not there yet.
