I hate scenery and landscapes... I'm terrible at them. >.<

Anyway, this is a certificate background for a new rp pride that my girl, Kiuma, is starting. With so much betrayal in her past by men, she's become a woman-only girl. As such, she's picked a secluded place to set up an all-female pride. Modeled after the Greek Amazons, the pride will be named Antianeira.

Situated at the meeting of two rivers, a tall cliff face has many caves for the pride to den in and a pebble beach down to the water. Pride is mostly made up of Kiuma and her four daughters at the moment, with Kiuma's mate Baala and a rogue female they picked up, Kannah.

When Baala was raped and left with cubs, Kiuma got herself pregnant by a random black male (to match baala) so she'd have cubs at the same time. The need to protect her little family led her to found the pride.

Only thing though, is that I can't get the pride official without a background of original art for the cert. >.< only problem being, I couldn't find anyone to do it... finally got fed up and decided to try my hand at it. Started with a sketch and just worked slowly from there... lots of layers too, to keep things seperate. Hopefully I don't fail too badly. xD I kinda like how it came out... at least its more or less what I was going for. Mostly just the paintbrush tool... different hardnesses. A little filtering and smudge tool for texture, and the grass/leaves brush tool to add a little more to it. The waterfall is a brush, but I had to mess with it a bit to get it to look right.

I feel good about some parts, not so good about others. :/ ah well xD it works, and now I have that background I wanted.
