THIS MOVIE THOUGH.
So, I saw Guardians of the Galaxy last night, and it was more than I could have ever expected.
All of the characters were one hundred percent self supporting in their races, personalities, roles, and looks. While I like all of them, my obvious favorites are this pair.
Groot is definitely my favorite in the group, he's adorable. He's badass. And he's voiced by Vin Diesel- which just makes me think back to The Iron Giant when Diesel voiced the Giant, and nostalgia just gets everywhere. Ceiling to floor, everything's covered in it.
Even though I really like Rocket, I think I like Drax just slightly more than Rocket. Or rather, I should say I like Drax's reactions to things better. It's the funniest thing in the entire movie watching how he deals with sarcasm and metaphors.
Quill and Gamora are neat for their own individual reasons, I like how blundering Quill is- and Gamora had the prettiest face. (Not to mention her outfits were pretty damn cool too.)
Even Ronan was pretty sweet looking, I loved his face design.
However, I was a bit disappointed that the other sister was named Nebula- such a cool name wasted on a bitch :T WouldHaveBeenMuchBetterOnGamoraOkayI'mDone
Outside of the characters, the scenery was GORGEOUS. I'm pretty sure my jaw dropped at all of the nebulae settings.
The whole time I was watching the movie and eating my parmesan goldfish- I was thinking about how I would like to put Raegan into their universe. And how she would really connect with Groot and Rocket because of her half animal, half plant existence. I imagine she would be more curious with Groot, as she's bound to have met plenty of animals (not that talk, though) But never any plants that reacted to much of anything.
That, and I figure Rocket would be super annoyed with her and generally not like her presence. Or at least not show it.

I was watching an interview with Vin Diesel the other day and he was talking about how every time he drives his kids now they look outside at the trees and refer to them as daddy's brothers and sisters now. It was so funny :3

You did a great take on the two. This is an awesome take of your character with Rocket and Groot.
I loved the part when Rocket said he needed the guys leg and needed the power core, last. Felt so sad when he was drunk in the bar talking about how he came to be p^q.

Omg I just saw the movie yesterday and it was the greatest thing ever. Emotional rollercoaster though like jeeze I spent almost the entire time laughing or crying
Rocket and Groot were definitely my faves though <3

me and you, dance off bro! :D while I question the reasons he would know of anything related to that sentence since he wasn't on earth since the 1980's lol but it was so beautiful. also drax was fantastic despite not following the comics versions all to much. "Nothing goes over my head."
