This is Olrox, the previous king of the kingdom of Zenethia and Bahamut's true father.
Olrox is a kind king but also very serious, especially with the events that concern his kingdom. His most notable feature is the odd tuft of red fur onhis tail, which contrasts with the rest of his body.

You'd be surprised, but Ewan Mcgregor was sort of a "base" for this character design. Part of what helped spark the idea was that when Episode III was nearing it's theatrical release, I left the barber shop one day people though I kinda looked like Obi-Wan. So the idea of an Ewan-looalike kinda stuck so I had that in mind while I was working on this.
