And to be honest, you could do first come first serve to keep it objective?
Don't be scared. :) Just do it for the fun in first place (making new concepts) and then get a bit extra money can't harm.
I'm doing a really specific one here too, so I'm not expecting loads of money since it's not a happy go luck fanart general peice, but since I wanted to do something and thought it would be fun for others to have a spot in it for characters. ;)
