With marriage now available to any combination of genders in California, gay marriage was a huge theme in this year's parade.
As I walked around the staging area before the parade, I found this couple!
In the parade, I learned that they are part of Badrap.org, obviously an organization trying to reform the image of pit bull terriers.

And now that I think about it...I think I saw you there. Because you remind me of someone I know here...but I think you're too young to be him. And I remember seeing someone who reminded me of that guy today...but I didn't make the connection that it might be you because I didn't know where you live.
