i remember you talking on tumblr about how exhausting adding a background to a piece can be (which is so true it hurts) but omg this is so fantastic i really can't wait to see more of your background work. like the flow of perspective from the foreground to the background with the lines hanging between houses, as well as the smoke is a really good lead to observing the entire piece and i really like that. i also like how there's a dominance in red and brown in the piece but still using a lot of color in that area (sorry if those aren't the colors, i can't see reds and greens well ;n; )

just overall your composition is fantastic and it really works with how well each part of the background leads you into the next part so fluidly. this is probably my favorite piece of yours hands down, it's fantastic.
