PRESS F5 FOR IMPROVEMENT IN TAIL. STINGER IS MODIFIED.
==============================================
Daichi could only stare at the game board with his eyes wide and muzzle agape, sheer shock in his expression as realization dawned on him; he’s lost. The victorious kitsune merely sneered as he burst out into laughter, a paw on his head while staring down at his opponent.
“And it looks like that’s checkmate.” He says before crossing his arms, “Our little battle of wits here is over. And the odds point to me~ But I will admit… that was a fun game. I never expected you to keep me THIS entertained me for this long.”
Daichi bit down hard on his lip. He continued to stare down at the board that showed his defeat in clear detail. His king had indeed fallen with both sides empty excluding a king on both sides and three opposing pawns in-between. The lupine takes a couple backwards before shaking his head with his paws up.
“Ohh? You’re not planning to back out of this now… are you?” The kitsune uttered before holding up a hand that began to glow with a fiery hue of azure blue, “I know a proper curse for you. Something light for giving me the most fun that I’ve had in a while.”
And before a word could be uttered from the fallen wolf, a flash of fire shot towards Daichi with the kitsune grinning from ear-to-ear as he shouted with pride, “Now become my pet bug you fool!”
But instead of hitting the wolf dead on, he ducked his head with the fire bouncing off his scythe blade and onto his tail, summoning a yelp from the male’s warbling throat. Daichi, at first, was too scared to see what had just happened, but the kitsune, with a shocked expression of his own, then smiled with a muttered response, “Or… why not that?”
Daichi began to sway his tail in order to get a feeling of it, only to feel nerves he’s never felt before in that tail. Taking in a deep breath, he turns his head to look towards his tail… and trailed his vision upward to fully take in what the curse had done to him.
However… stubborn is Daichi’s middle name.
With time gone by, and some extreme training later, he had gotten his revenge on the kitsune that cursed him. On that day he finally realized; this was one curse that he turned into a blessing. Matter of fact, it was, and still could be, even more than that.
