Another Ifus icon! Well...second Icon. First was the Fall Icon. Now I got a Spring icon. But I'm posting it now, because I'm very late with posting the commissions I have. That's why it says "Summer Showers" and not "Spring Showers". I still got, like, 15 more to post. Which, I guess isn't bad. I can convince myself so long as I have so many I need to share, then I don't need to spend money on more. I'm doing good on that, by the way. My fursuit fund is much thankful for that. But it does ask I stop going out with friends all the time so that I can actually have a fursuit fund funded. Yeah, well, it can shut up. Hanging out with friends is totally worth it. Especially if you go see Guardians of the Galaxy together, which is fucking awesome. Go watch it. Now. If you haven't yet.
Anyways, I digress. Awesome Icon. Finally getting around to posting this. Funny thing about this icon is that...I never actually used it yet. Just had other icons I have or been getting that this one kinda slipped my mind. But, good news is I now have a perfect icon for when Spring comes round again! See? I planned this out. Kinda. Not really.
But, yeah, I saw Ifus opening for Spring icons, and the rain icons, I really wanted one. Oddly enough, I kinda like the rain. All cheetahs love rain though. See? That one is totally loving it. Okay, really doesn't look like it. Probably hates the rain. But I like it! Okay, in real life, not so much, because socks can get wet and wet socks is the worst feeling ever. But in the summer it's fine, because flip flops! So, cheetah me would love the rain, because doesn't even wear shoes. See? Look at cheetah me up there. Practically rolling around in joy. Well, actually, looking at that, looks kinda like this previous commission: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11318397/
Anyways, in all seriousness, I find rain to be calming and relaxing, normally. When it's just rain. Hurricane's not so much. When we had the Great Deluge that wiped out roads and flooded most the town, that wasn't cool either. But a nice drizzle? It's relaxing. Especially to stand under. Just the feel of it. When there's a thunderstorm, what better to do than grab a nice coffee, sit by the window, and enjoy a nice day to yourself? Rainy days are best days for bookstore visiting, I think. Overcast days are great too. There's a calmness about that. I know it's odd I like that I like that, considering I'm in Florida, the Sunshine State. Don't get me wrong, I love bright sunny days. A bright, sunny, cool, Spring day is great. Great for driving with the windows down, I feel. But cloudy or rainy days have a special appeal to them to me.
So, that's why I got this commission. It appealed to me. Plus, I've been wanting a picture of Skips with wet fur. Would like to get another, actually. It looks cool.
Anyways! Big thanks to Ifus for making this awesome icon.
