Alright, some things I wanted to get off of my chest...
Dedicated to truly my one and only:
iphasia for being my one and only... :heart: It's a bit more of a mellow song, written intentionally as a poem, although the more musical side of me took over "In your arms." The song is obviously a slow song, similar to the song "I Swear" by John Montgomery, mixed in with a bit of Lonestar's "Amazed" somewhere along the lines. It's meant to be a more tender piece, so hold your love ones near and rest your head upon their shoulder, hold each other tight, and just dream the night away together...
It's been some time since I last posted a poem--I don't post any nearly as often as I'd like to or as I used to, but alas--I'm at a loss... I do hope that this fills that sweet tooth you all have been looking to crave during this lovely month of June/start of July. Thanks for taking the time to investigate, to read, and to understand. It does mean a lot to some poor college student looking forward to a big future. Thanks again, girls and guys!

Nah... ^^; I just kinda surfed the net and found a picture, and slapped it on there like most other people I see do. But good call though--I forgot to mention that and post a link where I found it. I'm really glad that you enjoyed reading it. It was meant to be more of a piece directed towards my girlfriend, since she's all that I've ever wanted, all that I've ever needed (major cliche I know, but hey... sometimes the strongest emotions can only be set forth in the smallest words). This poem/song (if you would want to call it that) was written to not only show my support for her, and my love, but also to thank her for all she's done. She really is an amazing individual, and only deserves so much more than I can really give in words. Still, that didn't stop me from writing this, and telling her how I feel for her everyday. We're 15 months into dating, with hopes of marrying someday within the next 2-3 years. =) Nothing really came as an inspiration for this poem--I just sort of let out what I had in my heart, and gave it a bit of structure, and... well, what you see is what resulted from it. =) Thanks for stopping...! Let me know if there's anything else you wanted to know.
