About a week has passed since the disappearance of my pretty kitty, Lily. We were hoping she'd turn up, but as it turns out my neighbors felt she was 'threatening' their chicken coop and shot her. Lily is partially blind, with no ability to hunt properly, she couldn't even kill a mouse when I saw it literally right in front of her. She couldn't. So I know for a fact she was no threat to the chickens, but alas...They didn't know this and I understand they were protecting their livestock. I just wish they'd have attempted to chase her off before shooting on sight. I'll miss her so much. She was the best cat I've had.
