Yeah, you get up from a seated position and the next thing you know you're coming close or passing out. Usually you get all tingly. :p

Actually I think you have what I have - It's low blood pressure.

Try eating more salty foods and perhaps exercise a little from time to time :P it helps.

The technical name for this is "orthostatic hypotension". But since "orthostatic" means "to stand upright", and "hypotension" means "low blood pressure", that doesn't tell you much that you didn't already know.

In English, this is often called a "head rush".

Wikipedia claims that good ways to reduce symptoms are to stand up slowly (duh), eat smaller meals (since eating lowers blood pressure), drink plenty of fluids, and getting more salt in your diet.

Tall people get it more often.

I see that I forgot to comment on this! ^_~; Well, I had that problems too but it was static that went to my feets and "glued" me to the ground. I laughed of meself but I didn't fell to the ground.

I used to get this too some time ago. Not so much anymore. Would black out for a few moments after getting up. Then it was just massive headrush and dizziness. Now not so much. I have no idea what solved the problem, age?

I rarely fall over but do often have my vision go completely black for a second or two.
