For Krystal Appreciation Month 2014,
Yawg wanted me to come up with some Krystal themed desserts, first up is the Krystal Parfait.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
-1 box of berry blue Jello mix. (Representing her blue fur)
-1 tub of cool whip or a can of whipped cream, whichever you prefer. (Representing her white fur)
-1 box of banana pudding. (Representing her gold armor)
-3 ripe bananas
-yellow food coloring
-1 red Starburst (Representing the red crystal on her head)
-parfait glasses
STEP 1:
Start by making the Jello in a large bowl. Let chill in the fridge for about 4 hours.
STEP 2:
Make the pudding in a separate large bowl. While whisking your pudding, add 3-5 drops of the yellow food coloring to make the pudding darker for a brighter, golden look. Let set in the fridge for about an hour. When pudding is set, slice the 3 bananas into coins and add them to the pudding. Mix well. Place back in the fridge until the Jello is ready.
STEP 3:
When Jello is completely set, mix it up with a large spoon to make Jello clumps. Add a few spoonfuls of Jello to the bottom of your parfait glass. Second layer, add a few dollops of your cool whip/whipped cream, third layer, add a large scoop of the banana pudding mixture, forth layer, add just enough of the jello again to cover the top of the glass, top layer add a final dollop of cool whip and then top off with the Starburst. Repeat this step with all the other parfait glasses.
STEP 4:
Wolf it down in 3 seconds because of how delicious it is!
The second dessert will be posted on the 12th.
