'taks are deffinitely a species to be loved indeed. ^w^
They look so adorable, friendly and snuggable.
I kinda have to ask though, are they an open or a closed species? I've seen a few different 'taks around, but I'm not sure yet. 0w0
I also wonder if there's a template to use to create your own 'tak in case it is indeed an open species.

no bother!
nikitaks are largely an open species, though i do ask to be credited as the creator if you get like commissioned art or whatever :o but yeah you're welcome to make a 'tak OC and RP with them or whatever!
i don't have a template, though, cause i didn't...know a template was a thing? :o but you're welcome to ask any questions you might have that you'd like answered before creating a 'tak oc :>

golly thats complex, i dunno that i've got time for such a big sheet D:
yeah almost all the info i have on taks is in that link, haha. it covers fur colours, but generally they're white (being arctic and all). though dying fur is totally accepted and normal in their universe, so if you wanted like a bright orange 'tak or whatever that's totally canon-acceptable.
i usually shy away from doing lineart for colouring cause i've had a looooot of lineart get stolen and then resold on sites like gaia as 'adoptables 100% original do not steal!!!' so yeah...sorry :x
names are usually...gosh how do i explain this. the way the hebrew alphabet or japanese alphabets work. syllabic. so usually a consenent paired with a vowel sound (ko or ji for example) and then several of those together. there's some exceptions to the rule and nicknames are plenty common. but names follow that like consenent-vowel-consenent-vowel pattern.

When someone is cold and needs to warm up, some 'taks might offer a cup of warm coffee, some others a warm hug and some others may go a bit further. X3
