I am a bit of an amateur at drawing animals whoops

but i wanted a cute doggie oc and then as i drew accidentally came up with a whole species idea when i was thinking of backstory called Spiritogs haha 8') where they are spirits who've taken on a dog form and are tied to something in the world still that keeps them from moving on! They are unable to leave the physical object they are tied to or move it by themselves, but some third parties have constructed special fastenings that tie it to the spiritog so they are capable of moving about. They feed off spiritual energy through the spooky mouth on their tail, even though they will not necessarily cease to be without it. Rather, they'll just get super weak and thus become potential prey for darker spirits. And that's what I came up with hahaha QT GHOST DOGS.

this little dude's name is Grosvenor! He woke up in Spiritog form in a storm drain tied to a ring and hibernated there for quite a while before being rescued by a human clairvoyant, an action he is very thankful for and cultivated a fondness of humans in him. Unluckily--or maybe luckily depending on his circumstances--he cannot remember any of his memories from when he was alive, something that isn't entirely uncommon in spiritogs. With a vague feeling that there's something he must do but an inability to recall what that is, he has taken to hunting down dangerous evil spirits out of both a sense of duty and as spiritual fuel.
