A pic of the singer from my current favorite band, Muse. I think he's singing "Stockholm Syndrome." Referenced from a photo I found online (with some alterations). The colors are actually much brighter in the original painting. Watercolor with some airbrush.

It's not meant to be a back handed complement D: ,
but that part of the picture which most catches my eye is the upper left, the subtle tonal changes between the green and blue. The quality of the rendering of the microphone boom device, which looks reasonably complicated is also good. Again, much love for the whiskers and also the nice rendering of the folds on his trousers, esp. the bottom half of the right (viewers right) leg. I greatly admire northern European art of the 15th & 16th century for their devotion to peerless rendering of folds in fabric, and every case likewise where folds are finely done.

Stockholm Syndrome is great. But my alltime fav is New Born! I hope they release their new album in autumm.
I'm looking forward seeing them live. Hopefully they come to Germany at the end of this year.
